McNett customer care @ 1-800-221-7325 (or) www.mcnett.com Had just purchased a $150 pair of Gore-Tex Golf Rain Pants. Caught the bottom edge on something sharp and put a 1" tathered tear in them. Bought this repair kit and all I can say is "WOW". You'd have to look real hard to find the mend. And part of the mend was on a crease. I follow the instructions completely, cutting a small piece for the repair. And I also took their advice to iron it for a stronger mend. Worth every penny!! I used one of these patches to repair a hole in my ski jacket. I cut the rectangular patch into a rounded-corner square, and then I applied the patch using a warm iron. After a couple seasons and several washes with Nikwax Tech Wash, the patch is still holding strong. The fabric on the edges of the patch have frayed slightly, but there's no sign of peeling. I'm happy with the repair, but I wish that the kit came with more pieces in a variety of sizes. Also, it would be nice if the kit included some flexible sealant that might keep the patches' edges from fraying. Bought a jacket from rei at the garage sale. When I arrived home I found a small hole in the shoulder of the coat. I bought this to repair the hole an it did just that. Was a little nervous about ironing this patch onto an arcteryx coat but it worked extremely well. I am very happy with the outcome.
